If you have kids, you know how crazy the playroom can be. Toys all over the floor. Kids come to you crying because they can’t find this or that. Well, I came across this useful video. I hope you too find it helpful.

Five basic ingredients;

Baking Soda: This is an all purpose, non-toxic cleaner. It cleans, deodorizes, scours, polishes and removes stains. It can also soften water to increase suds and cleaning power of soap.

Borax: It deodorizes, removes stains and boosts the cleaning power of soap. It also prevents mold and odours and is an excellent disinfectant.

Vinegar: Removes mildew, stains, grease and wax build-up and acts as a great glass cleaner.

Washing Soda: Cuts grease and disinfects. It also increases the cleaning power of soap.

Vegetable oil-based soap: Cleans everything, biodegrades safely and is completely non-toxic.

Combine 20 drops of tea tree oil, two drops of liquid soap and one cup of vinegar.

Put soap in a container, add the oil and blend together. Shake before using.

Combine 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/8 cup borax, 1/8 cup washing soda and enough liquid soap to make a creamy paste. Mix thoroughly and keep in an old squirt bottle. Rinse well.

Requires 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/2 cup of vinegar and boiling water. Pour the baking soda, then vinegar down the drain. If possible, cover and let rest for at least 15 minutes. Follow with three cups of boiling water. Do not use if any commercial drain opener is till in the drain.

Combine 1 tsp borax, 1/2 tsp. washing soda, 2 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil-based soap and 2 cups of hot water. Mix into a spray bottle and shake gently until the minerals are dissolved. Use on counters, walls and stair rails etc.

Combine one part vinegar to 2 parts water and pour into a refillable spray-pump bottle. Wipe with newspaper to eliminate streaking.

This recipe for an all natural toilet bowl cleaner came courtesy of www.ecoperth.on.ca.

Pour one cup of borax into the toliet at night. The next morning, brush and flush. Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of vinegar into the bowl and brush clean and deodorize.

To spray in and around the toilet area to kill germs, make a disinfectant spray cleaner out of 1/4 cup borax, 1/8 cup vinegar and 2 cups of hot water.

The kitchen sink it probably the most used area in your home. you should take the time to clean it properly to get rid of germs. What I do is use bleach and warm water.

I fill the kitchen sink up to the rim with warm water and then add one tablespoon of bleach. I’ll let it sit for an hour and then I’ll pull the plug with a pair of tongs. After this I’ll clean it again with a household cleaner, or I use Baking Soda. I rinse the entire sink, making sure I get rid of all the cleanser. I’m telling you, your sink will shine. You could use windex at the end it give it a great shine. Either way, it’s easy and it works.
